IC Video Ltd (T/A Cine2DVDtransfers) are not liable for any damage or loss of your media during transit to us or from us. By any carrier designated by us or you the customer. You are advised to use a tracked delivery service, requiring “signature on delivery”, when sending your source media to us. We offer the use of our Royal Mail tracked returns service so you can post to us at our expense. We use a range of signed for and tracked services to return your video/cine films and DVDs. Most mainland UK customers will have their orders returned with Royal Mail.
We always take exceptional care with your cine reels . In the unlikely event of us causing damage to or loss of any of your material, we will compensate you up to the purchase value of the original media. Please Note: This does not apply to cine reels that have arrived in a damaged or unusable state or that are damaged during playback due to defects or general age. A copy of the digital scan of your cine will be stored on our in office storage. Usually for a minimum period of 90 days. Internal backups are taken daily. Whilst we take every care to maintain these digital backups we cannot be responsible for technical failures of our storage equipment.
We always return your original material. Even if you ask us to dispose of it on your behalf. We advise keeping the original material for a period of time.
The DVD disks that we produce are high quality industry standard DVD-R disks. Digital files are AVI It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility of their play back equipment and software.
If you experience a problem with your order you must contact us within 7 days, describing the problem. We can not however be held responsible for damaged / mishandled disks or incompatible players. It is the customer’s responsibility to protect the supplied DVDs from scratches or other damages.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT and it is your responsibility to ensure, that the source media supplied SHALL NOT contain material classed as ‘Prohibited Content’ and must comply with current laws of shipping audio/visual material. Prohibited Content: Generally, Prohibited Content includes (without limitation) any of the following types of Content: a. Content we believe is abusive, deceptive, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, slanderous, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. b. Copyrighted material that is used without the express permission of the owner. c. Content that violates or encroaches on the rights of others. d. Content or other material that contains viruses, worms, corrupt files, Trojan horses and other forms of corruptive code or any other content, which may compromise our service. e. Content that advocates illegal activity. f. Content that harms minors in any way. Video 2 DVD Transfers reserves the right to pass any infringements of this Prohibited Content that we may receive to the relevant authorities if it is deemed necessary.
Any “Money Back Guarantees” if made, exclude any incurred delivery charges both inwards and outwards unless stated otherwise.
Cine 2 DVD Transfers will not be liable for any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), any loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
As part of our standard service we do not generally offer a check and report service prior to your transfer. See our FAQ for more details.
We accept payment via the PayPal platform. Payment can be made by credit or debit card online or by PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by card!
Currently we do not accept cheques or card details over the phone.
Should your order be underpaid we will continue to carry out your conversion and contact you for further payment. Over-payments of £4.00 or less are NOT refunded due to handling costs.
Customers may use our Royal Mail label to send their order to us via the post office, at their own risk. Only one label may be used per order unless the parcel has a weight of over 20Kg in which case a second label may be used. Additional uses of the label for other orders will be charged at £4.00 per additional label.
Should you feel that you may be entitled to a refund you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your DVDs via email, phone or in writing. Goods should be returned to our postal address. Should we feel there is a fault with your DVDs a refund will be given via your original method of payment.
This service is a business to customer service and our transfers are not to be resold with out our express permission. Using us on a business to business basis will imediately indeminify us from any losses that are incurred for any reason and will be deamed as a breach of our terms and conditions.
